The Lyric Theater has maintained its presence in Park River for many decades. After being closed for the first 6 months of 2014 the Lyric’s doors reopened on July 3rd. Many updates have been made to the Lyric. In 2014 the lobby and bathrooms were gutted. The ceiling was raised to it’s original height. New handicap accessible bathrooms have been installed. Also a handicap accessible door was added to the entrance. Other new additions include newer seats which were purchased form the theater in Valley City, paint, and flooring, Work to the roof was completed the end of June 2014.
