NOTICE OF FILING FOR ELECTION DEADLINE

A petition has been filed with the Park River City Auditor requesting that a Special Election be held to fill the vacancy of MAYOR.  The Park River City Council has set the Special Election date as June 10, 2025.  Notice is hereby given that the deadline for filing a petition to have a candidate’s name printed on the ballot for MAYOR for the City of Park River, ND Special Election is Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 4:00 PM.  The following position is up for election:

     MAYOR (un-expired term until June 23, 2026)

A candidate for city office must submit a completed SFN 2704 Petition/Certificate or Nomination and a completed SFN 10172 Statement of Interests to the City Auditor by the above deadline.  Forms are available from the City Auditor’s office, 514 Briggs Avenue South, Park River, ND 58270.  Questions can be address by calling the City Auditor’s office at 701-284-6150.
